then arranged for purchase of a portable weigh scale from WEIGH

Mr, Church moved that Council approve of this purchase and that
the $802 21 be now authorized paid to United Machine Distributors AND
Ltd Carried
2 Rent 1 rates to be charged for the use of the weigh scale
Mr Peters moved that the following rates be adopted-
Over 20 miles from Three '-sills - $S 00 per day RENTAL
From 10 to 20 miles from Three Hills - $7 50 per day RATES
Under 10 miles from Three Hills $10 00 per day
/If a group of farmers in one area arrange to use the scale
on the same day; then only the one rental rate is charged
There is no charge for the use of the scale by 4H clubs The
one who tales the scale out is held responsible for the rental
fees and a y undue damages

the life of 1vir Eldon Bettcher; operator of the Euclid Motor
Scraper in the south crew Details were lacki~7g as there
were no actual eyewitnesses, but the machine had upset
pinning the operator underneath and he had apparently died

necessary to contact Central Mortgage & Mousing Corporation
for detail regarding possible borrowing from them with a 25%
write -off Jor a portion of the sewer work up to March 31st,
1967 Det ils are now in the hands of Haddin,Davis & Brown,
Consulting Engineers, and should be submitted officially to
the Boards fpr approval at Edmonton very soon 1dr Peters

'Municipal Inspector had been at our office on iugust 31st and
