at East Coulee as conditions were too wet to continue in
our area and this had been approved by the Peeve and a
number of the Councillors
The total amount of gravel crushed from the Moran
pit was 3,490 cu yds , of which 1,386 was hauled direct
to roads and 2,104 cu yds put in stockpile. Of this
latter amount, 210 yds, was hauled with our trucks and
the balance by contractors. Mr Hazelton asked that
Council consider granting an extra payment for the stock-

was acceptable to his Department, and therefore no Grant Planning
would be made to this District He further stated that
the firm could be hired with full costs paid by the
District but it was possible that the plans, etc would
not be up to required standard and therefore, his Board V
might not accept same Mr. Dant had further stated that
a letter was to be sent immediately and should be here by
this date.
It was greed that these reports be tabled until the
afternoon to see if the letter from Pair Dant arrived.

further discussion followed )
Mr G.G King, Sec. -Trews and Mr Ralph Loosmore Mater
gave a report of the Hearing of the Oil % Gas Conservation Injection
Board in Calgary on July 6/65 regarding water injection
of oil wells in the Three mills Field The Board had
promised, th t if approval is granted for water injection,
it will carr5 a condition that the water source must be
satisfactory to the Board They had also stated that a
temporary moratorium is now in effect and no new water
wells will be drilled until a report has been received
from the Committee set up by the Hon Russel Patrick
Other details were given and discussed breifly Mr
Peters moved that the report be accepted and filed Carried.
Mr. Dun Peters stated that he had not been in contact Fred Art
with Fir Fre hrt in regard to his request for damage claim,
etc.
Council was advised that Mr Henry F Grenier had Henry sent a cheque- for his net 1965 taxes, less $20 00 which
he claimed for road repair this Spring No details were Grenier
