Mr. Church moved that Council approve of the minutes of the

Fina cial was p esented and discussed. This showed a net balance at the

ivIr Schmelke moved that the prices for crushed gravel sold
by this Municipal District be calculated as follows*
1. Out of the stockpile at the River east of Trochu - $1.40
per cu yd.
2 Out of any other stockpiles - $1 00 per cu yd, plus
the trucking from the location of the pit to the stockpile.
3 Direct from the crusher at any location - 10¢ less
than the above prices,
and he further moved that all ratepayers, towns and

hir Doug Hazelton of Linden Contractors met with Council
e motion as above was explained to him and he agreed to
it He stated that the Town of Trochu had paid Ehem for

present provisions of the Farm Purchase Credit Act, The
required forms for application, appraisals and other matters
connected with this, were shown to Council and discussed briefly.

giving a detailed explanation of the above matters and other

in attendance
Correspondence from the City of Drumheller was read to
Council in respect to its proposed annexation of Sec 25- 28-20 -4
in this District, this being the proposed penitentiary site, as
well as certain other lands lying east of Highway No 9 k
second letter from the City had advised that the annexation
hearin by the Local Authorities board would be Meld in Drum-
heller on June 26th at 10.00 t. h1 Council was advised that a
reply iad been sent to the Board and to the City asking for
full details in respect to the areas to be annexed and also
protesting the short notice of the hearing These were dis-

respect to the Drumheller annexation plans and that Council
authorize him to proceed with a protest on behalf of this District

in which they gave a permit to trap beavers on road allowances
