The regular meeting of the Council of the Municipal

A letter from the Department of the Attorney General re-
garding Interdiction and extracts of the Liquor Control Act were
referred to Council These outlined the Drocedure to be followed
in placing a person on the Interdiction List and regulations
conniected with that. These were ordered filed.
Mr Doug Hazelton of Linden Contractors met with Council
and the following were discussed.
1 They have approximately one week's private work at the
Meg i pit
2. The Company is not able to get an overload permit for
moving their crusher, etc at this time
3 It might be possible to stockpile more gravel at the
river east of Trochu and also to do some crushing there if a
permit to move can be obtained.
4. Mr Hazelton agreed to meet Council at this office at
1.15 P.M. on Thursday, to accompany them out to the river east
of Trochu to look over the prospects there
5 Correspondence was read in regard to the claim of
Lin en Contractors for loss of time in connection with their
acc d..ont involving a Municipal vehicle at the gravel pit north -
wes of Allingham. Mr Hazelton advised that he has submitted
further evidence to the adjusters and he expects to reach an
agr ement.
6 Kr Hazelton asked regarding the paving plans of the
Mun cipal District and he was advised that no decision has been
mad yet. They are interested in submitting - bid in conjunction
wit other contractors. He further advised that they now hale
a L Scraper
It was agreed that the road committee and 17r. Campbell have
aut ority to inquire further regarding a moving permit and
matters related to stockpiling and crushing at the river east
of Trochu
11r. Hazelton thanked Council for meeting with him and he

Eng Mr E Danchuk, District Engineer and the foremen, Mr. H.J
Gimbel and T Paquette then net with Council, and the following
were discussed*
1 Any application for Contingency Grant should be sub-
mitted as soon as possible
2 Paving was discussed and 21r Danchuk gave some general
information advising that, if it is to be done under Government
ving J Gr nt, tenders must be called, a Consulting Engineer must be
hired by the Tiunicipal District and must be a raiTable during
construction to check all details as to density, etc. etc. The
Contractor could be paid monthly but a hold -back of 103 must b e
made until the project is finally approved by the Government
ThE general specifications must be very definite Mr Danchuk
su gested that the base course could be 211 or even pit run gravel

Yr. Peters moved that Roy Uhrich be transferred from the
gees truck crew to the road grading crew and that Andrew Paquette be
transferred from the grading crew to the gravel truck crew, and
that Mi Paquette be advised that he must obtain a "B" license
to qua ify for this. Carried
Y r Joe Dobler discussed the work in connection with the
gravel crew and the payloader and advised that he is not
sure i Lloyd Will's health will permit him to carry on his
,usual work. Mr Dobler agreed to give Lloyd Will some gravel

permit him to continue
Ir. Thomson of the Drumheller Health Unit met with Council
th to discuss matters pertaining to the Health Unit and in partic-

office rental at Three Hills between the general use and the
dental portion. A letter from the Health Unit suggested that
,the rei ital for the dental portion should be based on 45% of
,,_the total. Mr Campbell moved that Council submit a letter
certifying that the dental portion of the rent is about 45% of
the total Carried.
Dau Mr. Donald Dau, representative of the Three Hills School
,Division, arrived at the meeting at this time of approximately

was reconvened in the Municipal office, Three Hills on April
28/61+ at 9 00 A.M with all Councillors again present

ARDI Agricult ral Service Board meeting of April 24/64 referring to
matters pertaining to ARDA. Further correspondence in this
regard from Mr J. Bishop; as secretary of the Alberta Weather
Modification Association, was also read, together with corresp-

Hills School Division outlined its 1964 budget and gave details
connected with it. Supplementary requisition required was based

Metal Froducts be given an order for road signs as required at
