Mr. Poole moved that new cheques be dissued for each of these and that STOP payrlents be placed against the orl lnal ones. This gave details of the output and other matters pertain- ing to its proposed plant Daily plant output is expected to con- sist o 349000,000 cu ft of natural gas, 2400 barrels of stabilized crude ondensate and 250 long tons of sulphur About 24 persons will b employed in the operation of the plant and its field Eacili ies This was ordered filed A letter was read from the Superintendent of Prairie Farm P. A lotter was read from the Provincial Minister of Agriculture advisi g that they will not be able to locate a District Agriculturist in our Municipal District for 1964, but that discussion should be held with Nir S d P..ttep_i to effectively utilize a fair share of his time and efforts Mr Peters moved that we request the Minister of Agriculture to supply us with a complete list of D A 's and their Assistants in the Province, togethor with the areas they serve Carrie R. A letter from the District Engineer dated January 28th advised that this District might now be held responsible for maint nance costs of railway crossings and particularly referred to a crossing between Sections 17 and 8 in 33 -23 -4 immediately south east of Trochu. G King or H.J. Hanson, and further that George Lemay of Trochu be advised of that conference. Cost e timates and other details were given in this letter with the su gestion that rloney be borrowed under the new Municipal Development and Loan Act Mr Loosmore moved that the Secretary - Treasurer be authorized to get further details in connection with this matter fron the Department of Municipal affairs in Edmonton and that he be authorized to go to Edmonton the beginning of next week to discuss this wnd other matters Carried. letter from Dr Grcenway of Aerie advised that Mr. Ned Fuller had failed to co- operate in the Bang's Vaccination of calves and therefore a special trip would be required to do the work at his f farr7 Mr. Broi =n roved that Mr Dune Peters investigate this and contact the vet in connection with same. Carried. Mr G. King, as Welfare Officer reported that, on the advice of Mr. Cooper of the Drumheller Welfare office, a boy nailed James E Smith had been aprehended in the Acme District as a neglected child. Further action may need to be taken to give this boy a chance to becor_ie established as apparently he cannot get help nor care fr m either of his parents This report was ordered filed Ralph Brown read to Council his proposed Reeve's report Mr Reeve �s for 1963 and it was then discussed briefly. Sch -elke of Div 6 was still away on holiday. Mr D. C. Dau, representative of the Three Hills School Dive ion was also present for most of the morning meeting. Mr Arnold Boese of Linden Contractors met briefly with Coun it and submitted an account of $6,794 02 for gravel work to d to Mr Peters moved that this account be authorized paid. Carr' ed Mr. Boese reported that they have about 1000 cu yds. more to dc at the Municipal pit northwest of Allingham and that it night take further 1000 cu yds to clean up the corner where they are working Mr Poole moved that Linden Contractors be auth rized to complete the work at the corner of the pit where they are working so as to leave it in good condition Carried. Mr Boese stated that they next wished to do about 5000 cu yds of private work and would then move to Knudson's if the weather and general conditions are favorable Mr Boese also gave a brief report of an accident at the gravel pit in which one of our trucks backed into theirs. The estimated cost of repairs is -;x350 plus _loss of time, etc It is expected that the insurance company will assume the full cost. Mr Boese then left the mooting. Mr L Gurel, Municipal Inspector and Administrator of the n w Villages of Linden and Torrington not with Council A sugge ted division of assets and liabilities with the Villages prepared by the Finance Committee was presented and discussed brief y Mr. Loosmoro moved that each Village be given a copy V of the proposals so that they may have time to study same prior to a meeting with our Council Carried. Mr. Poole moved that this Council meet with the Village Counc is of Linden and Torrington at our office on Thursday, VMarch 19th at 1 30 P M Carried Mr Gurel agreed to attend the meeting on March 19th to give ssistance where possible and he thanked Council for meeting with in. He then left the meeting Assess Mr Church moved that a committee of Mr Brown, Mr Peters and M King represent the Municipal District in its assessment 3pHills appeals in respect to property in the Town of Three Hills, said appeals to be heard by its Court of Revision on Wednesday, 2obru ry 26th Carried About 7 ratepayers sat in cn a portion of the meeting and Weat r seemed particularly interested in discussion in respect to Weather lodification Air Jim Dishop read a report regarding 1963 Mode cation Prairie Farm Assistance which in brief stated that there was no eligi le area in this Municipal District, but there were in adjacent areas He gave credit to Weather Modification for this.
