The enumerator for Div. 2 - Clifford Gordon with Electicn Earl Poff 3 To nooth as alternate change Deputy Returning Officer for Torrington Poll from Gerry Hodgson to O.A McArthur, as the former is unable to accept Motion carried A 1 tter from the superintendent of the Alberta Division P9 F. of the Prairie Farm Assistance reported that the area applied for in 1963 for P F.A. in Twp. 30 -26 -4 was not large enough to qualify and therefore, no inspections would be made. There are no adjoining areas in other municipalities which Piave been applied for. Trochu A letter from the Local Authorities Board under date of November th, together with Board Order No. 1106, pertaining annex to annexations by the Town of Trochu, were read to Council. Mr. - Campbell moved that a letter be written to the Local Authorities Board ask ng for clarification in respect to the following items; _r 1 Why was this District not given notice of the hearing which was held in Trochu on October 22nd. 2 ontrol and Besponsibility of the road from No 21 Highway 1 to the former boundaries of the Town and along the roadway s uth of Sec 17. 3 lias the property of Canadian Western Natural Gas annexed 4. Smith of Costello Equipment met briefly with Counci and discussed matters pertaining to the Michigan Loader He agreed that the company will put on a new bucket self 1 velling device and will check regarding the valve troubles we hav had He also spoke briefly to Council regarding Huber Motor atrols which are sold by his company Mr Smith then left tie meeting 1r. Dobler reported that the A -180 International Truck is using little oil but that otherwise all are working satisfact- orily. Mr J Dobler then left the meeting. Ed Herbert of Waterous Equipment met with Council and discus ed a special blade whimh he had sold to this District last y ar for use on Motak Patrols According to him, Mr Henry Tippe Had reported 78 hrs work on gravel plus 2.3 hrs work on dirt Albert Kimmel had reported 55 hrs. work on gravel and Ray E roan had reported 42 hrs. work on gravel for one set in each case. The cost of the regular blades is about $1.19 per foot, Whereas the cost of the special blades is $4.00 per ft. Any order given to Mr. Herbert now could be delivered in March. Counci discussed this but no order was given Reg Ellis of Rosco Metal Products met with Council and discussed culverts and snow fences Snow fences from his firm are all Iaellow in color and are sold only to Municipal Districts Mr. Church moved that Roscoe Metal Products beglven an order for 25 rolls of snow fence for delivery to Carbon, 25 rolls for delivery to Three Hills and for 250 6' posts for delivery to each of those two locations Carried.
