Mr. Gordon Park, Field Supervisor and Mr H. J. Hanson,
Secretary to the Agricultural Service board, met with Council.
Mr. Park gave a report of his work during the past month and Mr.
Hanson butlined the minutes of the Service Board meeting of Feb.

Three Hills Fire Department - Mr Reed asked the

Ken Kenney of Armco Drainage met briefly with `'ounci.l
advised of the above motion and that he would receive a

Tempest of Dominion Bridge riot with Council regarding a

orders which may arise during the year, but that they be

Advisor Board and from the Department of Lands and Forests in
respect to aerial photographs of this District Mr Church moved

A letter from the Workmen's Compensation Board was read in
which it stated that Mr Lloyd Will does not qualify for Workmen's
Compens tion in regard to recent operations. he Board has been

to his first operation Council was also advised that Lloyd Will
,/has ask d regarding work as gravel checker if Orval McArthur has to

Mr Wayne Scobie of Ferguson Supply phoned and advised Council
that th new sprockets and necessary parts for the Champion Motor
Grader o reduce its speed would be ;275 and that there might be
an additional charge for 4 to 5 hours labor The present sprocket,
and hubs could be traded in and a credit would be given depending
d on thei condition. He is endeavoring to get all of this without
any cos to the District Mr Peters moved that Ferguson Supply

conside ation might be given to a crossing in the vicinity of the
;road allowance west of soctions 14 and 23 - 30 - 2.2 - 4 The

Council was advised that the Winter Works program for survey
Profile work, etc has been ap'oroved under date of January 15/63
A lotter from the Mountain View- Kneehill. Auxiliary
Hospital District No. 1_3 of idsbury advised that the r3oard will
require a requisition of 1 mill of the equalized assossment for
the yea2 1963, This was discussed at some length and our Board
Members Mr Loosmore and Mr Schmelke gave further information
regarding this proposed auxiliary hospital jhey stated that
only ond suitable site seemed to be available and that three
acres w.s being )urchased at a price of $15,000
It was also hoped that the requisition would be for the
year 1963 only but no definite information could be given at
j this time in that regard. The members also advised that a meet-
ing is being held at Olds about i'larch 15 for a further discussion
of the y e of patients that can be handled in this Hospital Mr Bowe moved that a decision regarding acceptance of
this re uisition and other matters pertaining thereto be tabled
until alter the meeting is held at Olds Carried.
Council was advised that some further Prairie Farm Assistance
reports have been given and are now shown on the map in the office.
Other reports arc promised as soon as available and are expected
within the next two weeks
A Lettor was read from Jull, Dingle & Jul], Solicitors of
Calgary in respect to two children of Mrs.°,. D Rasmussen of
Huxley, Together with the note that a copy of the letter had been
sent to the Child Welfare Department at Edmonton Council was
further advised that Mrs. Les Campbell of Trochu, sister of the
two chi dren, had been in to make inquiries regarding welfare
assist a ce for them Mr Campbell moved that Mrs. Les Campbell
be advi ed that William Rasmussen may apply to the Provincial
� Welfare authorities for assistance for the two children if he so
desires Carried.
A Lotter was read from the Welfare Department, City of Calgary,
re Mrs. Anna Schneider asking if they may now send in the accounts
for welfare assistance granted to date; and also stating that Mrs
Schnoid�r's lawyer may launch an action against the ex(,cutors
and the other beneficiaries of her late husband's estate The
Secreta y- Treasurer, az Welfare Officer, advised that he had replied
giving the City authority to forward the accounts todate, and to
continue such welfare as is necessary
An ap,)lication from i4r. Armien Toews for Welfare Assistance
was re and discussed and Council leas advised that welfare had
been granted at $15 00 emergency at Public Grocery, Three Hills on
anuary 12, plus $25 00 through Acme Locker for the balance of

Mr. Brown and Mr toese reported that the general Acme,
Bei0seker, Linden area is having difficulty getting a doctor to
settle in the area as there is no active treatment hospital.
They are t erefore planning to approach the Provincial Govern-
ment to as that a hospital be located at either Acme or
Beleeker to serve the said area, and they request that Council
appoint a Jolegate to go with them to meet with Government
,,officials Mr Church moved that Ralph Brown be appointed as
this delegate with Mr Noah Boese as alternate Carried.
The Secretary - Treasurer and Mr Peters gave a report re-
garding the playground equipment requested for the Ruarkville-
P B I area, and submitted a list from the Blue Imp Catalogue Mr.

in the area concerned It was suggested that the petition
would require at least the signatures of 511 of the ratepayers.
Mr Loosmore moved that Council give conditional approval
to this proposal with the final decision to be made when ail

Mr. George Vasseur also asked if Council might have a used

give any definite answer at this time
Th Secretary - Treasurer as Welfare Officer reported that
ews he had authorized assistance for Arnie n Toews and family at
$15.00 anergency in mid January, plus a further $25.00 for the
balance of January through Acme Locker & Trading Company, and
a furth r $20.00 per week after February 1/63. An account

have been ordered and are now in the process of printing These
will be in color and the cost including tax will be approximately

Agreement.
All terms of this contract are based on the work done in 1962 and
R 0 Keglowitsch agrees to give the Municipal District of Kneehill
the sane service as in 1962 --
R 0 Keglowitsch shall monthly submit a staterient of account
according to minimum fees approved by the Alberta Land Surveyor's
Association, and such work reports and records as nay be required
including information necessary to allow the Municipal District to
