Bids were opened for sale to this District of a one ree ton truck, with or without trade-in of our Inter- 184 truck. The bids were received from. Acme Garage Acme -H T. Christie and Mr. Gor to the Boar discussion Provincial L_ - -V I M COUNCIL MEETING FEBRUARY 9, 1962 Page 2 Immediately after dinner, Mr. Phillip Rock and Mr ratepayer members of the Agricultural Service Board, ion Park, Field Supervisor and Mr H J Hanson, Secretary 1, met with Council and were present to take Dart in the ,egarding 'Loans from Farm Credit Corporation and the Farm Purchase Board I Mr. Jackson and Mr. McComb of Farm Credit Corporation of Drumhell r and Didsbury respectively met with Council as re- quested to �utline the Federal Farm Credit Loans. A "Standard" loan may be obtained on the security of farm lands n an amount not exceeding 75% of their appraised value or �'201 000 whichever is the lesser, for a single farming enterprise. V A "Package-deallfloan (designed to cover all the long and intermeiiate term credit needs of capable young farmers starting with limitei capital) - may be obtained in an amount not to exceed V the lesser 3f $27,500 or 75% of the value of the real estate, basic herd liveStDck and necessary farm equipment. Mr. Campbell moved thqt Council further consider its policy in respect to Farm Purchase Boards after details become available im respect to legislature changes at the next Session of the Provincial Legislature. Carried Mr. Taylor was thanked for attending the meeting and V giving detailed information This ended the discussion on Farm Loans.
