The Councillors present throughout the meeting were: Mr A. H. Church Div. 1 Mr Noah Boese 2 Mr. R. W. Brown 3 Mr Dunc Peters 4 Mr L P Meston 5 (Reeve) Mr. S. C. Schmelke 6 Mr. C. C. Campbell 7 Mr Brown moved that notice of this and that the Council deal with any business brought before it Carried unan meeting be waived which may be The placing of a Road Ban was discussed Mr Peters then moved that i -rated loads only be allowed on all trucks on Municipal roads commencing Monday, March 26, 1956, 7 A.M., no bans =on busses or farm tractors. Carried Mr. Meston moved that 25 metal signs about 12 "x18" be orde�ed from Rosco Metal Products, said signs to read: s ROAD BAN J -RATED LOADS FOR ALL TRUCKS Motion carried. A letter from the City of Calgary together with a relief application of Mrs Alex (Clara) Tetz was read. Mr Boese moved that this be tabled until next meeting and that the Sec -Treas get further information regarding Alex Tetz -- regarding wheat on hand, etc Carried. Mr Brown moved that the Council arrange for the purchase of extra land required to provide for road widening East of 5 & 8- 30 -26 -4 Carried Mr Wm Conner, of W. R. D. C. Modification Corporation Ltd. at ;Brandon, and Jas Bishop, of Kneehill Hail Suppression Comm., ihet the Council and discussed a proposed agreement to providea program for Hail Suppression in this District. Mr. Corer stated that a 2 -month weather forecast would be provided if the agreement is bigned. Mr. Campbell moved that Mr R Brown, Mr L P. Meston and Mr. 1G. King be a committee to contact the Dept of Municipal Affairs ;and also Mr. J E. Brownlee or some other solicitor regarding the proposed Hail Suppression agreement, and the By -Law xhich might be passed for this, and also to investigate regarding possible Government grants to assist Carried Mr. Peters moved that the above comm contact the M. D. of Mountainview for discussion of Hail Suppression Carried. Mr. Schmelke moved that the Three Hills Shop Comm have au hority to purchase a gauge for testing the fuel pump operati n on Caterpillar and /or other Diesel motors. Carried. Mr. Peters moved that the Sec - »Treas write to Andrew T Felker, of Wimborne, and advise him that this Council will not „ 't tolerate any mis- treatment of employees engaged in Municipal work.
