Mr Peters moved that the S6c. -Treas write to the
General Hospital for details of the $30.00 claimed
account of Harold Davidson Carried.
Mr Peters moved that the Sec. -Trews acknowledge
of the garnishee summons and release of same by
is received from Ferguson and Ferguson of Trochu.

Mr. Meston moved that the Sec - Treas write to the
Wheatland for further details concerning the account
Webber with the University of Alta. Hospital

Mr. Boese moved that the Holy Cross Hospital be advised
to refer the account of Mrs. Monroe to her personally. Carried.
Mr. H. Hanson presented the paysheets for consider-
ation of the Council.
IMr Brown moved that the account of Gellelli and
Sons be paid as presented, plus $37.80 for correction.

Mr. Boese moved that the other paysheets be paid as
presented and approved Carried
Mr. Christie presented other accounts for consider-
ation 'He was asked to check with Canadian Utilities as to
the cor ect location for the work done by them moving poles
for this District.
Mr Campbell moved that 25 rolls of snow fence and
225 posts for same be ordered for delivery to Three Hills,
and the same be ordered for delivery to Carbon Carried.

Mr. Schmelke moved that the accounts as read be
passed �or payment Carried
Mr. Peters moved that the Sec.- Treas. endeavor to
have David Haffner admitted to either the Linden Home or the
Salvation Army Home at Gleichen. Carried.
Mr. Peters stated that he had investigated the
accounts of Paul Zilinski and John Lehman and he moved that
no payments be made until such time as further details are
received and approved. Carried
Mr. Peters moved that the Council adjourn for
dinner from 12 noon to 1 P.M. Carried
Mr. Brown moved that the plans for extensions as
submitt4d by Calgary Power be approved, but that they be
requested to get the approval in advance of doing any future
work. darried.
Mr. Campbell moved that the Dept. of Highways be giver
authori y to make payment directly to George Calvert at
+% 10¢ cu. yd. for gravel taken by them for highway work from
NE -3 -34 22 -4. Carried.

Mr. Church moved that Mr. Reston and Mr. Peters be
a committee to arrange for the redecorating of the interior
of the Municipal office Carried The Sec -Tress was asked
f to get contract bids from Doug. Webb, D. & D. Evans, and

Mr. Peters reported that Aubrey Hazel and family were
receiving $146. mo. from the Compensation Board, plus medical
and hospital expenses for Aubrey Hazel, plus family allowance.
He moved that no relief be granted. Carried.
The Sec.-Treas. requested authority to purchase a
new adding machine, with one old one to be traded in Moved
by Mr. Schmelke that this be authorized. Carried.
Mr. Boese moved that the final payments on 1955
requisitions be paid. Carried.
Mr. Brown moved that all correspondence be tabled
unless it has otherwise been dealt with. Carried.
Mr Bob Hogg, f6reman, met the Council and discussed
winter work for his crew.
Mr Peters moved that Marc Reed be granted leave of
absence for the winter, with no loss of priority, so that he
might a cept other winter work. Carried.
Mr Arnold Boese, of B & T, met the Council and
reported that the water extensions authorized for Linden had
all bee completed. He submitted his account for $473.50
in this connection Mr Brown moved that the account be paid.

Mr Campbell reported that the water pump at Huxley
is giving trouble. He recommended anA 80 gal. pressure tank,
new pump head, new cylinder, and new jet rods, with a total
estimated cost of $400.00. He stated that residents in Huxley
would donate labor. Mr. Peters moved that Mr. Campbell be a
committee to arrange for these improvements. Carried
Mr. G. King, Sec.- Treas., reported that a resolution
to purchase land for a gravel pit as passed Dec. 13, 1954,
(minutes on page 1) should be in the form of a by -law
Mr. Chur h then moved lst. reading to by -law # 225 to provide
for the urchase of land for a gravel pit as per the following:
Location,: North 660 ft. of the east 1,320 ft. of SE- 16- 32 -26 -4,
I reserving thereout all mines and minerals, and
containing 20 acres, more or less
purchased from: Gottlieb Jahnke, of Olds
Price: $47250. cash (Paid by cheque # 840)

inspections had been made recently by Mr. G. Mazurek, Bridge
Inspector, accompanied by Bob Hogg and G. King for two days

Mr. McLennan, of Waterous Equipment, met with the
Council and brought season's greetings. He also stated that
he had films he would like to show the Council at a later date
Mr. Brown moved that the Council now approve of the
proposed transfer of Pt. NE- 19- 30 -25 -4 to Armien Toews.

Mr. Christie presented a few further accounts for
consideration. Mr. Peters moved that these be paid. C artied.
Mr. C. Ruby, Field Supervisor, reported on his
work with special reference to the locations at which 1080
Coyote Poison baits had been set out. Mr. Church moved that
his report be accepted. Carried
Mr Brownst�te that the Hamlet of Linden requested
further street lights and that such were needed. Mr. Church
moved that two further street lights be installed and that
one of those now in be moved to a new location; the locations
to be arranged with the Linden Board of Trade Carried
