Mr. Winther that Council approve the appointment members to the Board of Elnora Municipal Hospital having been made by Council of Red Deer M. D. Moved by Mr. Winther that the written report of the interview on Dec. 15th, 1954 with the Ministers of Municipal Affairs and Education be approved# Carried. Lloyd Weigum interviewed Council regarding damage to his farm by reason of the public driving across his land. Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that public works committee investigate this matter. Carried. Messrs. McAllister, Pennock amd Kelly interviewed Council egarding matter of appointment of two additional members to Board of Elnora Municipal Hospital. (see previous motion.) G. King. Carried. Moved by Mr. Church that a delegation be sent to Edmonton to interview the Minister of Municipal Affairs, and request that electoral divisions of the Municipal District be as shown on said map, and that Messrs. Meston, Winther, Ohlhauser and King comprise the said delegation. Carried. Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that Mr. King be instructed to make rrangements for interview with the Minister of Municipa Affairs and Hon Gordon Taylor, Minister of Highways. Carried, Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that contact be made with Mr. Belsheim regarding drawing up profile of bridge locations at Section 2 and 3- »30-26.•4 (Gerlitz). Carried. Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that Mr. Church and Mr. C. J. Ltd, Mr. Ainsworth, of Ferguson Supply Mr. Clayton Smith, of Costello Equipment Mr. Ainsworth quoted $1,280 as price for Case Engine ting grader. Mr. Schmelke moved that shop committee to this matter further Carried. Mr. Jas. Wright, Contractor, met Council and asked to hire engine to dig sump for oil -well on NE- 14« -31-22»4. He was advi ed to contact Alex. McArthur regarding this work4 itiir. C. Ruby, Field Supervisor, met with the Council and discussed the Bang's vaccinations of calves. He reported that 4,850 heifer calves had been vaccinated up to Jan. 5/55, that goo co- operation had been received; and that the work should be completed within our former boundary within a few days. HB inquired regarding posting of signs notifying the public t at this is a Bang's Restricted area and he asked if the Coun it recommended continuing the work to include the territor recently added. Mr. I-hurch moved that Mr. Ruby be authorized to secure signs and to have same put up on the main roads to show that this is a Bang's Restricted Area Carried Mr Schmaltz moved that the Dept. of Agriculture be contacte to find out whether or not the new territory is a part o the Restricted Area for Bang's, also that the vaccination program be carried out as far as possible in the new territory Carried Mr. Schmaltz outlined a proposal of the Drumheller Health 4it to provide a Dental Clinic for school children, working hrough a central clinic at Drumheller and a Mobile Clinic throughout the rest of the District He reported that the Govt pays 60% of the cost, that the total estimated cost for the whole Health Unit ib $18,000, or about 500 per capita, and that the Govt. has not approved of the Mobile Clinic. of the H us e a Mo Form 149 -P— Special MUNICIPAL SUPPLIES LTD.
