A special meeting was held on Oct. 4/54, commencing at
Mr. Winther moved that the Council deal with any
which may be brought before this meeting Carried unan.
L7 Carl Knudsen interviewed the Council in respect to

that a letter be sent to the Olds School Division regarding this,
and that copies of the letter be sent to Mir. Ellergodt (Trustee)
and to T`i Morley Carried.

Mr. Meston reported that inspection has shown that the
the Ford truck is worn -out; that the mileage on the
now 30,000 miles, and normally a new motor is required
miles, that Highway Motors has agreed to replace the
;h a new one at one -half price regularly charged.
It was moved by Mr. Schmaltz that the report be accepted
and a ne motor purchased from Highway Motors at one -half usual
charge. Carried,
Arrangements were made for the Road Committee to meet
Mr. Arthur Cormode at his farm west of Sunnyslope on Oct, 5th,
1954 at 1,30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is make some
arrangements for the movement of traffic around the ford on the
Lone Pine Creek east of NE- 12- 31- X27 -4.
It was moved by Mr. Schmaltz that Wright Motors, Carbon,
be informed that the International truck purchased last spring
has not been satisfactory, and the Municipal District is asking
for compensation for poor performance. Carried.
Tuesday
Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that Council adjourn until
