Mr Fred Kimmell of Three Hills, interviewed the Council an accident on July 29, 1953 at bridge six miles east of ls. He was informed that report of the accident has been to the Insurance Company of North America, being the company which carries the Municipal District's liability Mr. Ohlhauser moved that cheque #4161 (Royal Bank) be written cff, and a duplicate issued for it. Provinci Red Deer Carried Council Meeting August loth, 1953 Page 3. -------------------- - - - - -- Mr. P. J. Rock again met with the Council. Expenditures .ur trail in 1949 and 1950 were reviewed. 3,963 cu, yds as amount placed on this project in 1949; Mr. Rock this amount. He requested 300 cu yds per mile from hool to foot of River Hill near his place. (Estimated 625 for 1,500 cu. yds,) The two miles west of 30 and 4 were claimed to be very bad now, Mr. Rock agreed not to claim for gravel previously hauled from the river, on 1. That he be paid 100 per cu. yd, for gravel now in e and for any that may be removed in the future; and 2. That a further 300 cu. yds. gravel per mile be put ur trail, and 3. That hazard for cattle be removed; and 4 That no payment be made to him for any gravel put on our road in future. Mr J. A. Ohlhauser moved that the Public Works Comm - gether with 14essrs Meston and Parry, investigate this ter, and report back to next meeting of the Council. Mr. Schmaltz moved that application be made to the .1 Government for permission to remove gravel from the River south from Morrin Ferry in Sections 3 and 10- 31- 21-4. Moved by Mr. Campbell that $15.00 compensation be offered o Soldier Settlement for 0.31 acre taken from NE- 33-34 -23- -4 for road diversion. Carried. Secretary - Treasurer was instructed to notify W. D. Roach of date if next session of the Court of Revision. Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that Court of Revision be held on Sept. 14 1953 at 2.00 p.m. Carried. s Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that Drumheller Hospital District be paid $62 55 for account of Ole Hermanson's child. Carried„ Mr. Campbell moved that recommendation be made to the Superintendent of Mothers' Allowance that Mrs. O'Callaghanss MothersIlAllowance be increased to $60 00 per month Carried. Mr. Ohlhauser moved that correspondence be filed. Carried. Mr. Meston moved that Secretary- Treasurer be instructed to proce d to collect $279.00 from F. F. Weimer, Wimboren for N S F. cheque given in payment of taxes. Carried. Mr. Ohlhauser moved that William Hammell, Carbon, be offered 150.00 compensation for 1,,10 acres of land taken from NW -11 -- 2941.23 -4 for road diversion. Crried.
