Price, representative of Canadian Pacific was present and interviewed the Council regarding ing matters: 1. Removal of Cattle guards at railway crossings wi.thin pal District. 2. Railway crossings between 18 and 19 -29 -25-4 and - and 30- 2, -25 -4. 3. Proposed level crossing in SW- 17- 29 -22 -4 to replace crossing , The Council agreed to take the following action: 1. Investigate the various locations in the Municipal t which cattle guards are installed, and if any are in se to list them, and to pass a resolution at a later mending the removal of cattle guards at all other loca- 2. Request that the C.P.R. assume responsibility for nance of crossing between 18 and 19- 29-25 in consideration unicipal District will apply to have the crossing and 30 -29 -25 closed. 3. Send the Secretary - Treasurer to interview the f the Board of Transport Commissioners, Calgary, regard - oposed level creasing in SW. -17 -29 -22-4. Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that the road diversion on the east side of the C.P.R. right -of -way in NE- 1929 -25-4 be cancelled (that por ion lying within this Municipal District). Carried, Also that permission be requested to permanently close that portion of the road allowance between Sections 29 and 30-29 -25 -4 which lies south of the C.P.R. railway crossing. Carried. Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that the Reeve and Secretary- - Treasurer be authorized to have road bans effective as the weather and road conditions require. Carried. Mr. G. G.
