Ltd. Huxley. Mr. Schmaltz moved that Council give approval to the above transaction with Harry Griffiths. Carried. Mr. Schmelke moved that release of seizure be given Mr. David Zeh. Carried. The Secretary read a request from Arthur R. Brown of Drumheller that the annual meeting of the ratepayers today pass a resolution recommending to the Minister of Justice that the sentence of execution imposed on one Viggo Petersen of Drumheller be commuted to a. sentence of _life imprisonment, Secretary was instructed to have this matter submitted to the ratepay rs meeting today. Mr. Petersen moved that Albert Johnson be appointed D.R.O. for Manor poll., replacing Fred Johnson. Carried. Secretary read notice from Orville Hart that he will not in future be responsible for goods, or funds, given to his wife Nellie Hart. Secretary read proposal from Stanley Stasel to sell grass -seed to Municipal District, proceeds to be applied on taxes. Proposal tabled until March 9th, 1953• Moved by Mr, Petersen that Municipal District purchase from H. J. Gimbel, of Carbon, Alta. Lot 12, Block 5, Carbon, plan 4387P, for $150.00, cash. Carried.
