'Mr. Schmaltz moved that notice of meeting be waived
and that any business brought before this meeting be dealt
with. Carried unanimously.
A letter from the District Engineer at Red Deer was
read, in which was presented the request of the Government
for the;�submission of a 4- -year program in respect to the
constru'tion and/or gravelling of District Highways, Bus Routes,
and other important roads, together with an estimate of the
costs „After discussion, it was agreedthat the estimated
expenditure for this would be set at approx. $20,000. per
division per year, this making a total of $560,000. for the
next fotir years. The following tentative program was then
drawn UP.

Mr. Ohlhauser moved that pressure be put on the Government
to have bridges installed or repaired soon at the following
locations:
1. File 6848 between 14 and 15- 29 -24 -4 (Entice) - -this
is a bus route and market road.
2. File 70976 In 17- 29 -22 -4 (Sharples) market and coal
road; diversion not satisfactory; bridge should be 5 ft.
higher and about 20 ft. longer than previous one
3.' File 1409 South 6- 31 -23 -4 (Brodners) market road and
road tb school.
4. File 530 S/SE- 17- 33 -26 -4 (Doerings) market road;
materials now at the site
Motion carried.
The Secretary- Treasurer reported that he had attended the
pound sale of 8 horses in the pound operated by Mr. Fred J.
Ohlhauser on Sept. lltht 1952; that there were no bids offered
for the animals when they were offered for sale; thtt a certifi-
cate had been secured from the pound - keeper and four other
residents to the effect that the animals were declared worth-
less and undesirable; that the Secretary - Treasurer had sold
the 8 horses to Frank K. Paget for $130.00
It was moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that the following payment be
made this matter:
To F. . Ohlhausers $134.35 for pound - keeper's fees
To Otto Martin: $ 34025 for award for damages ($26.25) and
for impounding 2 stallions ($10.00)
To Chas. Hedstrom: S 16.25 for returns from 1 horse
Carried.
It was moved by Mr. Olson that the Assessor be instructed to
make a survey of the mines at Carbons Trochu, and Ghost Pine,
also urge farms in the Municipal District, and secure the
names of employees in these places for Minimum Tax purposes.
Carried.
Moved by Mr. Schmelke that Council Adjourn, Carried,
