Third reading given to By -Law No. 164 (Sale of Lots
27, 28 arc? 30, Block 6, Swalwell to Dr. Elliott for $10.00).
Moved by Mr. Petersen that said reading be approved. Carried..
Second reading given to By -Law No. 165 (Building of
a machin shed in Carbon). Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that said read-
ing be a proved. Carried.
Third reading given to By _ Law No. 165, and moved by
Mr. Sc ltz that said reading be approved. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Schmelke that repairs to the windows
in the M D.'s house in Swalwell be atthorized. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that $20.00 be charged Parge &
Sons, Dr eller, for rental of Low -Boy trailer. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Petersen that Secretary- Treasurer be
authoriz d to take steps to collect outstanding seed a.cepunts,
and to accept 60% of the gross amount owing as full settlement.
Carried.
Moved by Mr. Schmelke that warning notices be sent
to those in arrears for .$12.00 or more minimum taxes, giving them
until Oct. 1st, 1952 to pay for the net amount owing, and after
that datE to collect by distraint plus 20% for costs. Carried.
The Council adjourned from 12.15 to 1.30 for dinner.
Mr. G. G. King, Assistant Secretary, submitted the
August p y- sheets, and it was moved by Mr. Petersen that same
be passe for payment. Carried.

Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that the Municipal District pur-
chase from Cruickshank Road Machinery Co. Ltd., Calgary, Alta.
one used Richardson Rotary Snow -plow for $3,500.00, the said
snow-ploir to be made for use on a International TD -18 Tractor;
and that first reading of By-Law to provide for said purchase be
passed a4d approved. Carried.
Second reading given to the above by -law, and moved by
Mr. F. C Petersen that same be passed and approved. Carried.
Third reading given to above by-law and moved by Mr.
S. C. Sc elke that same be passed End approved. Carried.
Moved by bar. Schmelke that an order be placed with
Ferguson Supply Co., Calgary for 18 rolls of snow -fence for
Carbon, 1.2 rolls for Three Hills, 6 rolls for Div. 6, and 6 rolls
for Div. 7, cost $16.40 per roll FOB Calgary. Carried.
