Mr. S. J. Lawrence interviewed the Council on the matter
of damage to his car on April 14th, 1952 by striking a rock on the
road between NE -7 -30 -25-»4 and NW -8 -30- 25--4, Also Mr. Lawrence
requested that the Council take steps to have a bridge or culvert
built ac oss the Lone Pine Creek in NE- 13- 30-26 -4.
Moved by Mr. Campbell that the Secretary- Treasurer be
instructed to have the statement re the condition of the road
complete by Mr. Holt, the operator of the motor - graders also to
notify tYe Insurance company that Mr. Lawrence has interviewed the
Council pegarding the accident. Carried.

Mr. J. A. Ohlhauser reported that the entire Council
has insp cted the overhead railway crossing in SW- 17- 29- 22--4,
and they1have decided to abandon the present structure, and to
have it demolished, and to replace it with a level crossing
immediately west of the Railway bridge across the Kneehill Creek
in the s id quarter section. I•loved by Mr. Ohlhauser that the
Secretar3�-Treasurer be instructed to submit this proposal to
the Canadian Pacific Railway Co. for approval. Carried.

Gachal to visit friends at Carbon, providing they go

Moved by Mr Schmaltz that the requisition of the
r Health Unit for $4,503.75 be accepted: and paid in
instalments. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that $1.00 be paid to the
Village f Acme for building permit. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that correspondence be filed for
referenc . Carried.
The Council adjourned for dinner from 12.30 to 1.30
Theo, Heinrich, Hesketh, interviewed the Council re-
garding 4amage to his car on April 10th, 1952 at the Hesketh
bride. !The Secretary - Treasurer was instructed to notify the
Insuranc4 Company of this interview.
Mr. D. J. Brodner interviewed the Council regarding
the creek crossing on the road diversion in NW- 31- 30 -23 -4, and
reported that damage has been caused to said crossing by mischiev-
ous persons removing stones placed there as protection to the
earth fill. Mr. F. C. Petersen left the meeting and accompanied
Mr. Brod4er to the said location, and on his return reported that
he had i vesti.gated the matter, and corroborated the statements
made by I1jr. Brodner. Moved by Mr. Campbell that the Secretary -
Treasure* be instructed to have the R. C. M. P. investigate this
matter. 'Carried.
Mr. Luft and Mr. Dean of Torrington interviewed the
Council regarding two bridges west and south of 29- 322-26 -4 and
the road south of 29 and 30- 32- -26 -4. Mr. Schmelke agreed to
install present culverts on a trial basis, providing government
gives approval.
Moved by Mr. F. C. Petersen that application be made for
60 feet of 61 steel culvert at West of S14- 30«32 -22-4 as a temporary
measure. Carried.
Mrs, Edna Jennings, Swalwell, met with the Council, and
complain4d that the road diversion south of NW- 9- 30 -24 -4 is in an
almost i passable condition, and it is difficult for the Swalwell
people t: reach the nuisance ground on NF. --8- 3024 -4.

Mr. J A. Ohlhauser agreed to have a 3611 culvert installed
ad south of NW- 9- 30 -24 -4, and to have the road to the
grounds made passable. Carried,
1 Moved by Mr. F. C Petersen that the Municipal District
purchase from Mrs. Edna Jennings that portion of the NW- 9- 30 -24 -4
lying north of the road diversion to the north east corner of
the said quarter- section, (approximately 3 acres) for $100.00 in
full settlement for said land and road diversion, Carried.
Mrs. Jennings agreed to accept this offer of settlement.
Moved by Mr Ohlhauser that application be made to
the Dept. of Highways for 36 ft. of 36" culvert to replace the
bridge south of NW- 9- 30-24-4 (File 8299) , Carried,
The Council met as a Court of Revision at 2.00 p.m.

Stanley mane, Bircham, for $$10.00. Carried
Moved by Mr. F. C. Petersen that Lots 17, 189 19 and 20,
Block 8, Huxley, be sold to Stettler School Division for $$10.00
each, and that first reading of by -law to authorize the said sale
be approved. Carried.
Moved by Mr. C. C. Campbell that second reading of
by -law be approved. Carried.
Moved by Mr. F. C. Petersen that x$8.00 minimum taxes
paid by Robert Winther be refunded (not 21 yrs. of age). Carried.

1. That Project 3 be increased to 537800.
2. That Project 6 be deleted from that portion under
District Highways, and entered as Project iT 27 for
Local Roads at $800.00.

owing Di tract Highways
1. From NE- 23- 29 -22 -4 south thru Hesketh to the
NE- 2- 29 -42 -4, thence 1 mi west, thence south 5 miles to join
the # 9 highway near SE- 15- 28 -22 -4
2. From NE- 10- 30 -23 -4 west 7 miles to meet Highway # 21
at NE-9-30-24-41 then from NE- 21- 30 -24 -4 west 13 miles to the
NE-20-30-26-41 thence south 2 miles to NE- 3- 30 -26 -47 joining with
