The Secretary - Treasurer was instructed to notify the Three H lls Hospital regarding the account of Elsie Kali.n. of Trochu, Alberta, in the Calgary General Hospital $79.75 I,!oved by Iljr. Schmaltz that the account of Dr. Morris Carr-at, Calgary for Elsie Kalin ($90.00) be refused on the grounds that the I,Iunicipal District did not authorize the account. The Council adjourned for lunch from 12.15 to 1.15 p.m. Mir, George 11lills and Mr. Gustave Schmidt interviewed the Council on the matter of a drainage ditch in ATE -21 -31 -24-4. They re uested to hire municipal machinery to do this t}rork. Mr. Petersen agreed to instruct the municipal foreman to inspect this location. Major Steele of The Salvation Army interviewed the Council and made an appeal for a grant from this I.iunicipal Dist- rict. Roved by Mr. Parr;; that a grant of $700.00 be made to The Sal Nation Army, Calgary, Alta. Carried. Mr. Gish, representative of Wilkinson and MicClain, Calgary) interviewed the Council. Mr, G. G. King submitted the pay - sheets to the Council for endorsement and Tyr. C. J.
