Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that minutes of the previous
approved. Carried.
The Secretary - Treasurer read the Financial Report
of February, 1952:

Moved by Mr. F. C. Petersen that Financial Report
d. Carried.
Moved by Mr. M. Schmaltz that the Reeve and Secretary-
Treasurer be authorized to borrow $30,000 from the Treasury
Branch for 4% and $30,,000 from the Royal Bank of Canada for 41i%
to meet durrent expenses. Carried.
Moved by Mr. J. W. Olson that a letter of sympathy
be sent to Mr. John Esau on the death of his father. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Parry that approval of the Council be
given to the application of Mr. Ike Klassen to operate a retail
and wholesale oil business at Linden, Alta. for Canadian Oil Co.

Mr. C. J. Christie reported on the application for
Mothers' Allowance submitted by Dorothy O'Callaghan, and recomm-
ends that an allowance of $40.00 per month be paid. Moved by
Mr. Campbell that this recommendation be approved. Carried.
Moved by Mr. J. W. Olson that the following appoint-
ments be made to the Agricultural Service Board.

Moved by Mr. F. C. Petersen that Mrs. Bertha Buchert
on relief at $82.50 per month, being the amount she
eceiving from Motherst Allowance. Carried.
Secretary - Treasurer reported that Mr. John Seltr is
now lodged in the Ogden Hostel, Calgary, and it was moved by
Mr. F. C. Petersen that this matter be approved by the Council,
Carried.
Moved by Mr. J. W. Olson that Robertson, Anderson &
Co., Red Deer, be appointed Auditors for 1952, Fee $6 75.00.
Carried.
Secretary - Treasurer was instructed to publicize the
new regulations in the Prairie Farm Assistance ,pct regarding
renters of land.
Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that Mr. A. J. Purvis be author-
ized to attend the meeting of the Board of Olds School Division
No. 31 on March 11th, 1952, and that one member of the Council
attend also, Carried.
Moved by Mr. Petersen that correspondence be filed.
Carried.
Council adjourned from 12.15 to 1.15 p.m. for lunch.
Reuben Maerz interviewed the Council regarding the
improvement of roads adjacent to his farm..
Messrs. Parker, Rosgen and Loosmore interviewed the
Council regarding the possibility of gravelling the road south
from Three Hills to correction line.

The following agents interviewed the Council:
Mr. Fleetham, of Costello Equipment Co.
Mr. Morrison, of Union Tractor & Equipment Co.
Mr. Forrester, of Cruickshank R. M. Co.
Mr. Christie reported on his investigations into the
etc. of Mr. Martin Davis, now residing in Sunnyslope.
Mr. F. C. Petersen that Mr. C. E. Davis be advised that
cipal District accepts no responsibility for Martin
inte?nance. Carried.
Moved by Mr. J. A. Ohlhauser that Mr. Christie be paid
$129.60 holiday bonus for 1951. Carried. (4% of 3,240.00)
Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that Mr. Parry investigate the
damage claim of Kopjar's for $25.00/ Carried.
The Council discussed the purchase of welder from Mr.
A. E. St ite. Moved by Mr. F. C. Petersen that Municipal District
purchase the welder for $1,000, providing clear bill of sale is
given at time of purchase. Carried.
Mr. G. G. King, Asst. Secy. Treas., submitted the
pay - sheets, and moved by Mr. Schmelke that same be passed for
payment. Carried. /
