Slough in SE -30 -29 -25-4 Sharon Fern Fuller road NW -31 -30 -23-4 Mrs. Rasmussen Moved by Mr. Schmelke that application be made to the Government for a grant of $3,500 for the gravelling ding of the Olds- Trochu road. Carried. Moved by Mr. F. C. Petersen that the entire Council inspect the proposed road diversion in SE- 30- 29 -25 -4 and in NE -19- -2 -25 -4. Carried. Reports of the Juvenile Court heakings July 13st and August 9th regarding Sharon Fern Fuller, neglected child, were gi en by A. J. Purvis and G. G King. Moved by Mr. J. W. Olson that information regarding the responsibility of the Municip 1 District be secured from the Department of the Attorne - General. Carried. The report of Mr. Christie, Inspector for Mothers' Allowance, re Mrs. Agnes Rasmussen, was read; and it was moved by Mr. Clson that the said report be accepted, and approval given tc the recommendation for etntinuation of a monthly allowna e of $55.00. Third reading was given to By -Law No 150, being a By -Law to provide for the operation of the Provincial Govern- ment's Coyote Control scheme, and it was moved by Mr. Petersen that same be passed and approved. Carried. Moved by Mr. C C Campbell that an old No 7 Adams GA der be sold to Mr. T. M Heer for $50 00 Carried The Council adjourned from 12.30 to 1.30 P.M. for dinner A delegation consisting of D J Brodner, Eldon Brodner, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lammle, F H Torell, C W Edwards gnd Lawr nce Edwards interviewed the Council on the matter of opening p the road between NW- 31- 30 -23 -4 and NE- 36- 30 -24 -4 and the roviding of a crossing across the Three Hills Creek at this ocation Moved by Mr F C Petersen that a crossing be built across the Three Hills Creek at this location Carried. Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that insurance coverage on machiner be reduced 10%. Carried. Moved by Mr Petersen that the new Bunk -Car be insured or $2,000 under Fleet Insurance Policy Carried Mr. A. E. Staite interviewed the Council regarding taking g avel from Red Deer River Moved by Mr. Petersen that A. E. St ite be authorized to take out a maximum of 10,000 yds. of gravel from Red Deer River (Near Morrin Ferry), 2,500 yds to be for the Morrin Ferry road, and balance to be stock -piled at 55¢ p r yd. Carried. Moved by Mr F C Petersen that $50 00 per month relief be granted to Mrs. Alma Friesin of Linden, Alta. Carried The Secretary - Treasurer reported that a request had been made by Mr R Glass, c/o Phelan Hotel, Red Deer, Alta. for a certif cate of the population of Wimborne This certificate is required in connection with the application of Mr Glass for a Licens to sell beer in Wimborne. Moved by Mr M Schmaltz that Secretary-Treasurer be authorized to make a census of the Hamlet o Wimborne. Carried. Mr Harry Davis, of Acme, interviewed the Council on the matter of the inclusion into the Calgary Hospital District of Tps 9 -24, 29 -25, 29 -26, 30 -25 and 30 -26 It was moved by Mr. J. Al Ohlhauser that Mr. Parry interview residents of Tps 30r25 and 30 -26 on this matter. Carried. in which Sec 29- instruct has met arrangem Mr Loba Oct. 15t for inst A letter from W. R. Sandercock, Drumheller, was read, he repports that about -J mile of fence was removed from 8 -21 -4 by the road crew. The Secretary- Treasurer was d to write Mr Sandercock that Mr. Olson, Councillor, ith Mr. Colberg, the tenant of the said land, and made nts for its replacement.
