Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that the Municipal District
pay for the maintenance of Mr. Geo. Beckwith in the Salvation
Army Hostel, Saskatoon, and that the Secretary be instructed
to see that he makes application for additional Old Age
Pension. Carried.
The Secretary reported on the recent events in the
Wyndham hospital account and caveat. It was moved by Mr J A.
Ohlhaus r that the action of the Reeve and Secretary in engaging
Mr. J. F Ferguson to take action to collect be approved by the
Council Carried.
Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that the re- location of the
Acme -N'o th road on the west side of the C.P.R. right -of --way be
approve , subject to approval of the District Engineer. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that Mr. Campbell and Mr. Schmelke
be appointed a Comrr_ittee to interview Mr Emil Ziegler of Trochu
on the natter of his claim for compensption for the trespass of
his land by certain people during the period of blocked roads.
Carried.
Secretary was instructed to advise the Orme Funeral
Chapel, Olds, that no authority was issued by the Municipal
Distric in the funeral of the late Jacob Enzie.
Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that the Agricultural Service
Board d al with the matter of delegates to A.S.Bd.. Conference
June 14 157 1951. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Schmaltz that the letter dealing with
the new olicy of the Dept. of Agriculture in Coyote control
be turn d over to the A S.Bd for further consideration. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that correspondence be filed

The renewal certificates of the three Fidelity bonds
of the olffice staff were produced and examined by the Council.
Mr. Dickinson., of Industrial and Road Equipment Ltd.
met the 1council on the matter of road machinery
Sam Eslinger met the Council and discussed gravelling
of road in 1951.

that the policy be accepted, and premium of $810.00 paid.

at Three Hills shop. Carried.

Elvin an Jack Christensen. Moved by i4r. S. C. SchmelXe that
these em loyees (also R E Bent, Donald Adams ar_d Robert Hogg)
be re -en aged under the same terms as last season. Carried.

The Council interviewed Wm Howell and H. Jr. Gimbel,
road foremen.. Moved by Mr. Petersen that the two road foremen
be paid 27kr 0 per month in 1951. Carried. Both foremenF
accepted employment on this basis. Council agreed that i an
increase in wages was found in order that it might be made
retro -ac ive to April lst, 1951 Carried.
Moved by Mr. J. W. Olson that mileage for workers be
paid on ihe following basis:
In the South Camp: 80 per mile and free gas
it it Forth Camp • 101 per .mile to end of March
Carried.
Albert Mottern was interviewed by the Council. moved
by 141r S hmelke that he be hired as cook for the North Camp
wages- 65.00 per month. Carried. He accepted employment on
this basis.
Moved By Mr. Ohlhauser that a reconditioned motor be
installe in the Ford truck used by the North Camp. Carried.

purchase from Industrial and Road Equipment Limited, Calgary,
one new International TD -18 -A Trac- Tractor, complete with all
tractor ttachments: Price X13,768.86 less 2' for cash.
Net price: $13,493 950; and
one Bucyrus -Erie P -25 Power Control Unit. Price.
$1,663 5 less 2% for Cash: X1,630 00; and
one Bucyrus -Erie 5 -91 Scraper. Price. $9,539.00 less
2% for cash: Diet Price. $9,348.00; and
one Smith Hydraulic Bull.- Grader Price $3,980 00 less
2a for cash, net price $3830.00

in Divisions 4- 5 -6 -7, and the South Camp do the work in Divsions
1 -2 -3, with transfer of work to be arranged where desirable

Verne Bogner and Dennis Nowell were interviewed by the
Council Mr. F. C. Petersen moved that Verne Bogner be hired for
work in the north camp, rate of pay 950 for first 200 hours,
then at 51 10 per hour Carried Verne Bogner accepted er_mploy-
ment on this basis.
Moved by iyir. Schmaltz that the requisitions of the
Olds and Elnora Hospital Districts be referred back for explan-
ation fo, increase over 1950 requisitions. Carried.
