It was moved by Mr. Schmaltz that the Reeve and the
- Treasurer be instructed to investigate the matter of
e streets, as requested by the Busy Bees Society.
It was moved by 1r1r. Schmaltz that Lot 21, Block P,
Wimborne, Plan 7015 E.F. t4;6 be offered for sale to the Olds
School Division No. 31 for $50.00, cash. Carried.
First and second reading given to By -Law No. 131
and it moved by Mr. J W. Olson that same be Passed and
approve �as
. Carried.
It was moved by Mr. Schmelke that the offer of
Mr. Gerald Hazel to buy 12 cares of N.E. 4 of Sec. 18 -32 -25
for $100.00 be accepted, and sale of same authorized. Carried.
First and second readings given to By -Law No. 132,
and it w s moved by Mr. F. C. Petersen that same be passed and
approved. Carried.
The Secretary - Treasurer was instructed to get further
information regarding Janet M Walker, (deceased), for the pur-
pose of determining if she was entitled to the $1.00 per day
rate for hospitalization.
The Secretary - Treasurer was also instructed to in-
vestigate the matter of residence of Herman Arndt in this Mun-
icipgl District.
The Council adjourned from 12.00 to 1.30 p.m for
dinner
During the dinner hour the Council inspected the
road between Sections 2 -3 and 10 -11 in Tp. 32 -24 -4; also the
Subdivision in SW- 36- 31 -24 -41 owned by Gus. Schmidt.
Mr. J A Findlay, Child Welfare Officer, inter-
viewed t e Council, and reported on his investigations into
the affairs of the Orville Hart family of Sunnyslope.

Mr. Orville Hart and Mr. Fred Metz were present,
and interviewed the Council on the same matter
It was moved by Mr. Schmaltz that Mr. Findlay be
instruct d to continue his investigations of the affairs of
this fam ly, in accordance with The Child Welfare Act. Carried.
Three farmers from Div 7 (Messrs. Robinson,
Kellar aad Morse) interviewed the Council on the matter of
improvem nt to the road North of Sections 31 and 32- 34 -21 -4
It was m ved by Mr Campbell that the Municipal District of
Red Deer be requested to grade this two miles of road, and
this Municipal District will pay 50% of the cost; or the
Municipal District of Red Deer be requested to build one mile
of this road) and this Municipal District will build one mile.
Carried
It was moved by Mr. J. A. Ohlhauser that the next
Council keeting be held on July 4th, 1950. Carried.

The matter of the request of Gus. Schmidt for
the cancellation of Block 1 of Plan 908 GA (SW -36 -31 -24-4)
was disc ssed; and it was moved by Mr. Schmelke that this
request be refused, on the grounds that the said sub- division
is likel to be required as an addition to the Town of Three
Hills arried.

Mr. Parry moved that the application of Henry Reimer
Reimer for a License to deal in Salvaged Materials be
Carried.
Mr. Schmaltz moved that the matter of Stuccoing the
Three H #ls shop be turned over to the Building Committee
(F. C. Petersen, G. G. King and William Howell). Carried.
Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that Mr. W. D. Gentleman
be auth'rized to make arrangements for the spraying of trees
in Swal2l for control of Aphids. Carried.
Plans of the Huxley -?hest Rural Electrification
project were submitted for approval, and it was moved by i1r.
C. C. C pbell that the said plans be approved. Carried.
Moved by lair. Schmaltz that lair Schmelke be author-
ized tolhave a fence built around the open basement on Lot 81
Block 2� Hamlet of Wimborne; it being reported that the said
open ba ement is a hazard in its present condition. Carried.
Public Works Business: (Submitted by Mr. G. G King,
Assist t Secretary- Treasurer).
It was moved by Mr Ohlhauser that the cost of
stock-piling gravel be charged to General account, until
such tine as the gravel is taken for road - building, when
it shall be charged to the division or project taking same.
Carried.
The Council gave consideration to the matter of
1950 Allocations for Public Works, and it was moved by Mr 1.1
Schmaltz that the following conditions and schedules be
adopted and approved:
1. That the rate char ed each division for each
of the four large tractors be at 96.00 per hour.
2. That the rate to be charged each division for
each of the four large Motor- Graders be 0.00 per hour
3 That the rate to be charged each division for
each of the "Huber Patrols" be $2.00 per hour.
p 4. That each division be charged for materials at
Colt.
5. That the cost of bate- sloping roads be charged
to the division,
6 That no charge Jae made to any division for
foreman's time or mileage, or for repairs, fuel, etc.

The Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for the year
given consideration by the Council, and the changes
