It was moved by Mr. J A Ohlhauser that the Financial
IStatemenj be adopted. Carried.
It was moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that the insurance on the
"D -711 tr ctor be cancelled, and that the new 11TD -18" tractor be
insured Pon arrival. Carried.
The Secretary - Treasurer was instructed to cancel the
insurance on the old 11TD -18t1 tractor when same is delivered to
Industrial and Road Equipment Limited.
It was moved by Mr. Campbell that Franz Jacob of
TrocYju be paid $45.00, being maintenance for months of Nov.,
Dec, and Jan. 1950 for the two Bogner children, who are now
his wardg, Carried.

It was moved by Mr, F. C. Petersen that the Miseri-
pital be advised that Edmund Vasseur is not a resident
nicipal District, and that this Municipal District
responsibility for his hospital account. Carried.

It was moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that the application of
sett of Carbon to buy Lots 27-- 28 -29 -30 and 31, Block 4
' Swalwell for $100.00 be accepted; and that the first

Moved by Mr. Uhlhauser that first reading of By-Law
No. 123 tae approved. Carried.
Second reading was given to By-Law No. 123, and it
was move. by Mr. Schmelke that same be approved. Carried.
It was moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that, in future, all
orders for culverts be credited to the Alberta Association of
Municipal Districts. Carried.
It was moved by Mr. Schmaltz that, in future, all
orders f r tires for municipal machinery be credited to the
Alberta ssociation of Municipal Districts. Carried,
It was moved by Mr. Petersen that Dr. Ian Shand be
appointed Medical Health Officer of this Municipal District
for that °part of the Municipal District included in the
campus oil the Prairie Bible Institute. Carried.
It was moved by Mr. Olson that an extension of time
for the payment of taxes under Tax Consolidation Agreement
on Si an4 NW-9- 28»22 -4 be granted: that the payments now in
arrears oe deferred until the fall of 1950. Carried.
It was moved by Mr, F. C. Petersen that the account
of Nelso C Wild for coal supplied to Mrs. Alma Friesin
($14.40) be paid. Carried.
It was moved by Mr. Schmelke that the Municipal
District purchase from Sam Eslinger 400 steel posts for $1.00
each. C rried.
It was moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that the account of
Robertso , Ahderson & Co,, Auditors, $657.98 for Audit fees,
postage, envelopes, etc, be paid Carried.
A delegation of six resident farmers interviewed the
Council on the matter of the payment of awards under the
P.F A.A. on the 1949 crop. It was moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that
the Supt of Prainrie Farm Assistance, Edmonton, be requested
to re -co sider the payment of awards to the following areas:
Sections 2-3 -10 and 11, Tp 29, Rge. 25.
Sections 1- 2- 3- 10- 11-- 12- �13 -14 and 15, Tp. 30, Rge. 25
All of Tp. 29, Rge. 24.
Sections 25 to 39 (inc.), Tp. 28, Rge 25
West half of Tp. 33, Rge. 23
Y East two- thirds of Tp. 33, Rge. 22
All of Tp. 28, Rge. 22
Sections 25 to 36 (inc.) of Tp 28, Rge. 26
West 1 mile of Tp. 32, Rge. 23. Carried.
Moved by Mr. C. C. Campbell that correspondence be
filed. darried.
Mr, G. G. King, Asst. Secretary - Treasurer, presented
the payer beets, and it was moved by Mr. Petersen that same be
approved and passed for payment. Carried.
