- I.P.P. . 811. Carried
Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that payment of $26.00
for road diversion in SW- 18..30 -21 -4 (0.52 acres) to Peter
Johnston Box 762, Drumheller, be authorized. Carried,
(loved by Mr. Ohlhauser that first instalments
of the 1 48 requisitions from School Districts, School Divisions
and Hosp tal Districts be authorized. Carried.
fir. Campbell stated that it is his intention to
have the road on the west side of Sections 26 & 35- 34 -23 -4
graded a d improved in 1948, (this road being the road used
by the m mbers of the Cranstondale Beef Club.)
Proved by Mr Schmelke that 600 lbs (approx ) of
Crested. Aheat Grass Seed be purchased from C E. Ruby for 18¢
per lb. ICarried.
(loved by Mr Campbell that the Secretary - 'Treasurer
be instrILCted to see that Bans are placed on all roads of this
Y,unicipal. District at the same time that Bans are placed on
the Government Highways #r9, x'21 and #26. Carried
(loved. by Mr. Schmelke that Mr. J. G. Umbrite be
appointe as Weed Inspector of this funicipal District in
1948. Carried.
P,F:oved by Mr. Petersen that the neat meeting of the
Council lie held on Friday the 2nd day of April, 1948, starting
at 10.001a.m. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Ohlhauser that the applicants for
employment on the road crews of the Municipal District in 1 048
be informed to be present at the Municipal Office on April 2nd,
1 °48 at .30 p.m. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Schmelke that the Court of Revision
hear the appeals now on file on June 14th, 1948 at 1.00 p.m.
Carried.

Mr. Schmelke moved that By -Law No 94 be introduced
and given first reading. (By -Law No 94 provides for the erection
in 1948 af a Machine Shop of Concrete Block Construction, size
80 feet long, 40 feet wide, with 12 feet walls , at an estimated
cost of S ven Tbousand Dollars ($7,000.00); the said machine
hop to be built on lots 29 to 35, Block 8, Town of Three Hills)
Carried.
Mr. Morgan and Plr. Johnston, gravel contractors,
of Carsta'rs, Alta interviewed the Council They informed the
Council t at they have the following equipment Over -head
loader mointed on D -6 Tractor, Richardson -Crusher with daily
output of 500 -6CO yds., three trucks Their charges are:
crushing and spreading (la" size) 60 0 yd., from strip pits
crushing and spreading 70¢ yd., straight loading 25¢ yd.,
spreading 50 yd.
Nir Ohlhauser reported that he had been unsuccessful
in gettin an interview with Mrs. Lily Gouldie, an applicant for
Mothers" Allowance. He stated that he had secured information
that Mrs Gouldie is in ill - health, and that she is now living
in Calgar . Secretary- Treasurer was instructed to communicate
with Nirs., Gouldie and get additional information.
Mr. G. G King, Assistant Secretary - Treasurer,
submzttedthe Pay - sheets for approval, and it was moved by P��r.
9. C. Campbell that the pay - sheets which have been approved by
the Councillor concerned, be now passed for payment. Carried.
